Additional Migraine Medication Options
Following your assessment, medications may be given during your visit to address pain and nausea:
Less-sedating option: Toradol (ketorolac) for pain and Zofran (ondansetron) for nausea may be considered if you wish to avoid drowsiness.Member +$15 · Nonmember +$25
Driver-required option: Toradol, Compazine (prochlorperazine), and, when appropriate, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) may be considered. This combination can cause significant drowsiness, so you must arrange a driver home.Member +$30 · Nonmember +$45
Your provider will select medications based on your symptoms, health history, and current medicines. Even with the less-sedating option, do not drive if you feel dizzy, sleepy, or impaired.
